Michaela and David’s blue and white wedding at Maggiano’s Little Italy was so much fun to coordinate! I had so much fun working with these two! They were so sweet and down to earth.
Michaela and David met their freshman year of college. Their classes were next to each other, so they would always see one another going into class. It wasn’t love at first sight, but Michaela said it didn’t take long to get to that point! When it was time for David to pop the question, he had to come up with the perfect plan. He told Michaela that they were going to dinner at a restaurant at Port Orleans Riverside Resort at Disney, but when they arrived, there was a horse-drawn carriage waiting for them. (Isn’t that just so Disney fairytale?!) On their way back from their carriage ride, they stopped at a gazebo where their families were waiting. It was right then and there that David proposed! How sweet that their families got to witness such a magical moment! Afterwards, they went back for a celebratory drinks and ended the night watching the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.
They had an intimate brunch wedding, surrounded by their family and friends. Their blue and white wedding colors were beautiful and the day couldn’t have been better! It started off in the morning at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park. Everyone got ready there before walking across the street to the church. The ceremony was held at First Congregational Church and my goodness it was such a beautiful church! I fell in love with the brick exterior from the moment I saw it. The ceremony was perfect and it ended with a bubble exit out front. I love bubble exits so much! They’re just so fun, especially during the day.
After the ceremony, we packed up and headed to Maggiano’s Little Italy on International Drive in Orlando. I had never been there before, but I must say, it was such a wonderful experience! They had their own private banquet room in the back and it was the perfect size for their wedding. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious! Royal blue table runners made the room pop and Flowers by Lesley did a wonderful job with the white and blue centerpieces. Their rosette buttercream cake was by Publix and an adorable Mickey and Minnie cake topper added the perfect touch. Afterwards everyone enjoyed some dancing, mingling and dessert! It was such a perfect day and we were so honored to be a part of it!

“Our wedding day would have been a mess without Katie! She was amazing. Everything and everyone she suggested was great. Katie made our day the best it could be. We couldn’t imagine having to do it without her. She took away all the stress and worry that came with planning a wedding. On the day of the wedding we forgot our guestbook at home and she left to go get it for us. Her and her husband went above and beyond what I ever thought a wedding planner would do. She’s the nicest person you will ever meet and you will be so happy she helped with your wedding.”
