Lauren and Jon were an absolute pleasure to work with. Lauren was the sweetest and Jon was a hoot (and he had a killer beard). They held their wedding at the beautiful Mission Inn Resort on a lovely November day and things couldn’t have been more perfect!
The ceremony was held outside in Plaza de la Fontana. The weather was gorgeous and the ceremony was wonderful! The nice thing about that plaza is that you really don’t have to do any additional decorating because it is naturally beautiful. After a lovely ceremony led by their dear family friend, Bruce, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and the newlyweds were swept away on a golf cart for pictures! I was completely blown away by some of the photos The Collective by Concept captured. The lighting was perfect and made for a beautiful glow!
Their reception was held in La Hacienda. Utilizing what the space already had to offer, they added lanterns with a little greenery (all created by Lauren’s mom) and each guest was given a cute little jar of jelly. It was so simple, yet so pretty! Dancing, cigars on the patio and a sparkler exit made for the perfect evening!
We are so happy to Lauren and Jon and had a blast working with them to make their big day perfect! Congrats you two!

Katie’s favorite wedding details / moments:
I loved how Lauren did her hair! A gorgeous braid – so simple yet so elegant! The fact they kept their decor simple and utilized the beauty of Mission Inn was such a great idea! Lauren’s mom did a great job with all of their decor! And can we talk about the first look between Lauren and her dad? And then again with Lauren and her grandparents? LOVE!
