When Kristina and Bob reached out to me about wedding planning services for their big day, I knew it was going to be a fun year working with them. They wanted a simple, yet elegant wedding, somewhere on a beach, surrounded by their closest friends and family. They wanted a vintage meets beach vibe and we definitely made that happen!
After looking at quite a few venues across the state of Florida, they decided on Postcard Inn on the Beach in Saint Petersburg Beach, Florida. This quaint little inn was the perfect setting for the vibe they wanted. Leading up to the big day, they were able to hang poolside with their family and friends, drink in hand and have a good time. Then head over to the beach which was just a few steps away and soak up some more sun. If you have never been to Postcard Inn, I highly recommend checking it out. Can you say weekend getaway?
Their ceremony was held on the beach and Maria Roncari with A Page in Time officiated. We love working with Maria! She is the sweetest lady and her ceremonies are so personal and fun! I mean, if you can get a crowd laughing at a wedding, you must have done something right. 🙂 We kept the decor simple for the ceremony. Blue and lavender ribbon with pearl strands hung on the aisle chairs and blew in the wind. We adorned the bamboo arch with flowy white fabric and secured it with beautiful floral ties created by Ragga Wedding. One of my favorite things about the ceremony was the kiss. Kristina is so tiny and petit and Bob is about 100’ tall, so when it was time to seal their love with a kiss, Kristina stepped up on a little box so she could reach Bob. It was such a cute and funny part of the ceremony!
Afterwards their well-dressed guests (did I mention everyone was encouraged to dress in vintage attire and so many of them did) enjoyed cocktail hour out in the garden while the newlyweds took photos with their wedding party and family. Postcard Inn has so many wonderful places to take unique pictures. The options are endless!
Once it was time for the party to start, everyone was asked to gather around the dance floor while the newlyweds shared their first dance, which was perfectly choreographed! It was such a beautiful moment, under the trees in the garden with your favorite people surrounding you. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed dinner and then it was time to let loose! Everyone had a wonderful time dancing and drinking and once the reception was done, the party continued on the beach bar. It was the perfect evening!
It was an absolute pleasure working with Kristina and Bob. They are the sweetest people and their cat, Sheldon, is also the best. 🙂 Congrats you guys!

Katie’s favorite wedding details / moments:
Kristina’s dress was stunning! It was perfect for her vintage-inspired wedding. I was also obsessed with the bridesmaid dresses and the adorable bow on the back! Bonus points to Kristina and Bob for bringing Sheldon to the hotel. They even got a few pictures with him (and I may or may not have taken a few selfies as well). RaggaWedding did a wonderful job with the bouquets and the best part is the girls could keep them forever because they are hand crafted out of fabric.

From the bride…“Katie was the absolute best! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a wedding planner. She was always available and responded very quickly to every email. She helped us find a perfect fit for our officiant. She helped me with picking out decorations and would text me pictures from Michael’s of things she found that I might like for the wedding. She helped me put together some of the decorations and when I realized I didn’t have enough ribbon she offered to go pick up herself and also found me a small glass bowl I was in need of last minute. She was totally on top of everything. She was such a tremendous help. She provided advice when asked, but otherwise let us make our own decisions and was supportive of what we wanted. She helped us stick to a budget. Her husband helped us to use my husbands’ points to book flights and hotels for our honeymoon. She was always very enthusiastic. Towards the end I felt like she was a friend at our wedding, not just our wedding planner. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly thanks to her. She helped bustle my dress and even help take off my shoes to empty the beach sand and put back on. Big plus, she and her husband packed up all the decorations in our car after the reception which was a huge help. She was so thoughtful throughout the whole process. She is an utmost professional!”
