Brande and Adam were referred to me by Jeff of White Rose Entertainment. Brande and Jeff had been friends for years and he knew that we would click perfectly…and we did! I had a blast working with these two to plan their big day at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. Brande and Adam wanted a fun party with their close friends and family and we achieved just that!
Brande’s favorite flower was the Stargazer Lily, so you know we had to incorporate it! This beautiful flower became the base to the overall design of the day. All of the floral incorporated the lily and accents could also be seen on everything from their seating chart to their table numbers.
The ceremony took place out at the Wedding Gazebo. Because the gazebo and the view behind it was already beautiful, we kept the decor simple. Bluegrass Chic created a stunning floral chandelier which hung over the alter area, two beautiful arrangements flanked either side of it and ombre petals lined the aisle. It was a sweet and simple set up, yet to beautiful and very colorful. Guests were greeted with delicious lemonade, perfect for a Spring wedding. Brande’s brother officiated the ceremony which made it extra special. Her niece, Ocean, was her Maid of Honor and Adam’s brother was his Best Man. The ceremony was filled with love and it was beautiful!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the DaVinci Terrace. The newlyweds were swept away on a golf cart where they got some beautiful photos around The Ritz-Carlton’s stunning grounds! Because Adam was an avid golfer, we made sure they got some pictures on the golf course as well.
Once the newlyweds were finished with their photos, we brought them to the first part of their reception for a first look. Dinner was held outside in the Citrus Garden. We brought in market lighting to make the garden glow, the silver chiavari chairs were a great accent to the pewter linens and the purple, pink and white florals were the perfect pop of color. The Ritz cooked up delicious stations with everything from tacos to pasta to turkey and salad. It was so yummy and boy did it make the garden smell great! Stations are a great alternative to a buffet or plated dinner. It is a little more casual and very fun for guests! Once dinner was compete, Brande and Adam shared special dances with their parents, cut the cake and then led guests inside to continue the party! Desserts, drinks and dancing ensued and everyone had a killer time. The night ended with the classic song “Puttin’ on the Ritz” which was simply perfect since we were at The Ritz!
The day could not have been more beautiful and I am so glad I had the chance to work with Brande and Adam. They were a hoot and so much fun to plan such a perfect day with!
