Anne and Jerry were such a sweet and laid back couple! I knew from the moment we spoke on the phone, it was going to be a fun, yet relaxed day. They were just so nice! They chose to get married at Marina del Rey at Mission Inn Resort. For them and lots of their guests, this would be a destination wedding. Anne and Jerry traveled all the way down from New Jersey to say “I do” and enjoy the lovely Florida Summer for a bit.

Before the ceremony, the two opted to do a first look. Even though it was slightly drizzling, they still made it happen. Thank goodness for pretty covered areas at Mission Inn! They also were able to take pictures with their two girls and their wedding party beforehand as well. I am a huge fan of knocking out as many photos before the ceremony as possible! This allows you to not have to rush after the ceremony and potentially enjoy cocktail hour.

Their intimate wedding took place on the back lawn of the marina. We were so thankful that the rain stopped so everything could still go on according to plan. After the ceremony, a group photo was taken (I’m also a fan of that when it comes to intimate weddings) and then guests got to enjoy food and drinks on the front lawn. During this time, the newlyweds took a few more formals photos around the marina and ended with an amazing sunset opportunity!

The reception was filled to the brim with dancing, laughing and good times. I even had the privilege of MC-ing the evening (that was a first for me, but now I can say I’ve done it before). Everyone enjoyed each other’s company and some delicious cake for dessert.
