Navy and Burgundy Wedding at the Lake Mary Events Center

Arianna and Mike’s navy and burgundy wedding was one for the books!

Wedding Details:

Arianna and Mike reached out to me because they needed a coordinator for the big day. The brother of one of my past brides thought we’d be a good fit; coincidentally, he was also a groomsman in this wedding! I was in love with Arianna’s vision from day one. I knew it was going to be stunning and boy was it. They chose navy, burgundy and gold as their colors and they wanted an elegant, yet classic vibe for the big day. Knowing the Lake Mary Events Center was their venue, I knew we could definitely make that happen!

The Ceremony:

The rotunda was the perfect spot for their ceremony! Burgundy petals lined the aisle, a beautiful arch, draped in ivory fabric and adorned with two clusters of flowers framed the aisle and two sets of tiered gold lanterns with candles and floral flanked the aisle. It was beautiful!

The Reception:

The ballroom was my favorite part! Lots of thought went into making this space a show-stopper. A long feasting table was the focal point and it is where the wedding party would sit. We added in round tables throughout the rest of the space for the guests. Their gorgeous wedding cake, groom’s cake and sweetheart table went on the stage and each of those tables had this amazing gold, sparkle linen. It was stunning!

To help with the floral budget, we re-used the gold lanterns from the ceremony, as well as the floral from the arch, to decorate the sweetheart table. It was beautiful! DJ Live Productions lit up the room with color and also created a custom monogram that brightened up the stage. This navy and burgundy wedding turned out absolutely stunning!

Guests enjoyed a wonderful night of delicious food, cake, flaming donuts, dancing and a mirror photobooth. The night ended with a sparkler exit and Mr. and Mrs. Mellado lived happily ever after!
