For Kate and Kyle’s burgundy wedding, we drew inspiration from their fun-loving personalities to make their big day as joyful and vibrant as they are! As we share their burgundy wedding story today, we invite you to visualize yourself stepping into their shoes and having the big day celebration of your dreams.
We know wedding planning can be stressful and throughout the process, you may experience decision fatigue or dampened spirits, but that’s why we’re here! We are experts in taking the stress off your plate, so you can enjoy the planning as much as you’ll enjoy the day-of!
Kate and Kyle had their burgundy wedding on a gorgeous fall day at Snowline Acres. The golden fall foliage perfectly mirrored the orange and coral hues in their wedding floral while dreamy, golden light flooded the space. A burgundy wedding is a classic and timeless palette for a fall wedding. With this rich hue, you can lean into the deeper tones and pair it with colors like navy blue. Alternatively, you can contrast the burgundy with lighter colors, like Kate and Kyle opted to do, with hues of ivory, pale pink, coral and marigold.
On their big day, we loved seeing both their wedding design and intentionally planned personal details come to life. Before the ceremony, Kate’s mom helped her get ready. That day, she wore a long-sleeved wedding gown with lace details. The train was long and flowing with a tinge of blush. We planned for Kate and her mom to have some one-on-one time as Kate finished getting ready, allowing them to appreciate this sentimental time together and capture memorable photos. We particularly love this shot of Kate and her mom clutching the bridal bouquet together. This truly shows off their bond as well as the special bouquet charm Kate wrapped around the stems.
Although a first look has become a widespread wedding trend, Kate and Kyle decided to stick to tradition and see each other for the first time down the aisle. We love that they didn’t give into the pressure to go with a trend and followed their hearts in this way!
They still wanted to have a personal connection to each other before the ceremony though, so we decided to plan a gift exchange for them! This is when they each took a few private minutes before the ceremony to open special gifts they got each other. They each included a card and a present. Kate gifted her soon-to-be husband a beautiful watch. Kyle gifted his soon-to-be wife with a star map of what the constellations looked like on the day of their wedding. This gift exchange was the perfect way for them to be connected without seeing each other before the wedding ceremony!
Then, it was time to get married! Our owner and lead planner, Katie, had readied the burgundy wedding ceremony site alongside the vendor team with two wooden triangular arches adorned with a lush floral spray. Two barrels with corresponding floral arrangements framed the top of the aisle while white garden chairs awaited guests. We let nature do the rest! The venue offered such a breathtaking view of the fall foliage and mountain range that we knew we had to let these natural elements shine.
What a beautiful day it was! Kate and Kyle’s processional is another great example of how they showcased their personalities in their burgundy wedding. Kyle and their wedding party entered the ceremony to an instrumental version of the Jurassic Park theme song! This song selection was perfect because it felt true to them while remaining elegant and timeless. There was no better way to kick off their nuptials!
When Kate and Kyle were officially pronounced husband and wife, the tune of “Marry You” by Bruno Mars rang out. If you’re looking for a modern recessional song, this is it! The newlyweds then danced their way back up the aisle. They were so full of joy that they couldn’t help but throw their arms up and dance it out: Our kind of couple!
As the newest married couple in Montana captured photos with their wedding party and family, our team invited guests over to the burgundy wedding cocktail hour. There, they indulged in appetizers of bruschetta, bison meatballs, crab stuffed mushrooms, and a lavish grazing table. To drink, they got to enjoy the couple’s signature beverages of an Old Fashioned and Huckleberry Lemonade. Did you know huckleberry is the state fruit of Montana? This was a subtle homage to our great state as well as a way to introduce guests to our local culture.
When the festivities were underway, our team put the finishing touches on this burgundy and copper wedding reception. We repurposed the ceremony double arch to sit behind the sweetheart table, and we also moved the barrel floral arrangements to frame the couple’s customized neon sign.
There were so many beautiful elements to this burgundy wedding reception that it’s hard to choose a favorite! We had set the guest tables with gold chargers, burgundy napkins, and mismatched, textured crystal glasses. Some centerpieces consisted of a trio of wooden lanterns with pillar candles and natural greenery. Others consisted of one of the bridesmaids’ bouquets: Another wonderful way to repurpose your wedding décor!
We draped the sweetheart table in a burgundy wedding linen with a colorful garland across the front. We interspersed this with votive candles and later added Kate’s bridal bouquet to the center.
Other elements to this burgundy wedding reception included the epic dessert display table that was comprised of the wedding cake in addition to a variety of pies and cheesecakes. Set against the windows that overlooked the ceremony and open field, it was a gorgeous and delicious sight! We also loved the couple’s wedding favors. These were customized mugs with hot cocoa, whisks, and a sticker of their two dogs.
When we say we are here to ensure you soak up every moment of your wedding day, we truly mean every second! From the time you enter your reception to your first dance to when you enjoy dinner together, we take care of everything so you can relax and truly live in the moment.
For Kate and Kyle, this looked like dancing their way into their burgundy wedding reception, sneaking kisses on the dance floor, indulging in their wedding cake with huckleberry mousse, and partying the night away with their people! As the night got later, we brought out fun dance party props in the form of glow sticks as well as late night pizzas for everyone to refuel.
When the night came to a close, Kate and Kyle also got to ride away together without worrying about a thing. We handled the cleanup of their personal décor, helped say good night to their guests, and managed vendor break down.
Our team’s mission is to help you be the happiest you can be on your big day. We’re proud to say that we accomplished this for the beautiful Kate and Kyle!
“Kate and Kyle, congratulations you two! It was an immense joy and honor to work with you and give you your beautiful burgundy wedding. The day could literally not have been more gorgeous or fun! I loved getting to be a part of it all! Best wishes to you both!”
