Lexie + Tommy | Ponte Vedra Inn & Club – Ponte Vedra Beach, FL | Life & Love Studio

I was introduced to Lexie and Tommy through my sister-in-law, Ashley. They were all in school together at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange. Ashley had mentioned that Lexie was looking for a wedding planner that could help take some of the weight off her shoulders as she was trying to plan a wedding and become a Chiropractor all at the same time. (That’s talent right there if I do say so myself – you go Lexie!) 🙂

After speaking with Lexie, we came up with the perfect planning package for her and things took off from there! I was so excited to see Lexie’s beautiful vision come to life at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club. I had never been to this venue before, so when I got the chance to visit it for their tasting, I was super excited. Tommy’s family lives in Ponte Vedra and are members of the club, so deciding to host their big day there was an easy decision. After the tasting, we were able to do a walk-through of all of the spaces and it really helped to pull everything Lexie had explained to me into reality.

They would exchange vows on a cute little courtyard that overlooked the Atlantic Ocean. From there, guests would make their way to the Surf Club Patio where they would enjoy the cocktail hour and the reception. The patio was so beautiful! Part of it was open and you could look up and see the beautiful blue sky. Later in the evening it would transform into the dance floor as market lights lit up the night sky overhead. The other part of the patio was covered, but was equipped with floor to ceiling windows and doors for easy beach and dance area access! It was the perfect location for dinner with a gorgeous view of the beach!

Lexie and Tommy wanted a very elegant garden vibe for their big day. They chose bright corals, yellows and pinks to accent lots of greenery and pop off the white linens and chairs throughout the reception. Jade Violet Wedding Floral did an excellent job brining that vision to life! The ceremony was accented with garlands and clusters of bright florals. The girls wore coral dresses and held simple bouquets of greenery with a pop of color in the flowers. Lexie’s bouquet was amazing and so dang fun! It was the perfect bouquet for a spring wedding and it looked gorgeous with her dress from Calvet Couture in Winter Park. A simple boutonniere paired perfectly with the guys who looked so handsome in their black tuxes.

For the reception, we reused the garlands from the ceremony to line the wooden farm tables. The bridesmaid bouquets were also re-used in gold vases to accent the garlands. For the round tables, a beautiful arrangement of white hydrangea and bright pops of flowers sat atop a glass vase which looked stunning with the natural lit patio. It was the perfect garden-feel and Lexie was so happy when she saw it for the first time! All that hard work and planning paid off for sure.

Everyone had a wonderful evening full of yummy food, delicious drinks and lots of dancing. DJ Jacob Towe provided some awesome uplighting and projections which were the perfect touch. He also brought this awesome smoke/haze/gun thing (honestly, I have no idea what it was called) and it was so cool and unique; Lexie had a ball with it!

The night ended with a sparkler exit and the newlyweds were whisked away on a decorated golf card. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day! Wedding planning package – Custom Perfectly Planned
