What makes a wedding day truly memorable? Many have different answers to this question. Some may say it’s what they wore while others may say they remember the ceremony word for word. Guests may recount the food they ate or the way they danced all hours of the night. Either way, the only right answer is the one that’s right for you!
If having a pampas grass wedding or multiple portrait sessions as newlyweds brings you excitement, we’re here to bring that vision to life! One of the benefits of having a seasoned Montana wedding planner by your side is being able to share what would make your big day the most memorable event of your life and trusting that they’ll help ensure it’s executed for you!
Here at Big Day Celebrations, this goal is put into motion from the moment you start on your planning journey. Determining whether the number of photos you get or the flavor of cake you have is most important to you is part of what we do to help you book your services, execute your theme, plan out your timeline, and see it all come to life.
When it comes to wedding planning, there is no cookie-cutter mold here at Big Day Celebrations. If you want a simple organic wedding or a bold pampas grass wedding, your planning journey is custom to you.
In today’s post, we’ll show you how Mysha and Rob were certainly able to break the mold and ensure their day included all the right aspects to make their bold pampas grass wedding a day to remember. From making the most of their timeline to getting multiple portrait sessions and making bold statements with their colorful pampas grass décor, this wedding is a perfect example of how Big Day Celebrations can help turn your wedding dreams into an unforgettable occasion!
Mysha and Rob’s true colors showed through with their bold theme choices. Their attire incorporated colorful accessories and pampas grass details. Mysha wore a beautiful boho, fitted all-lace gown with a lace train and dusty blue cowgirl boots.
She also brought along her colorful pampas grass bouquet that was beautifully bold. Rob didn’t fall far behind when it came to dressing to the nines for their theme. From his eclectic pocket fold to his bright burnt orange bow tie, he was able to elevate his ensemble to an eye-catching look! He even added the cherry on top by having custom wooden cufflinks and his monogram embroidered into his sleeve cuff. Talk about a couple making a statement!
Their first look wasn’t just about looking pristine for their first view of one another. Mysha and Rob choosing to have a first look had some added benefits as well!
To continue with Mysha and Rob’s bold boho design elements, they chose to incorporate their bold pampas grass décor in every aspect of their wedding day. Of course, that means setting the stage for their ceremony!
Large colorful floral arrangements with tall pampas grass details welcomed their guests into every row. To elevate their ceremony even more, they opted for a lush floral garland wrapping around their altar. They didn’t miss a single chance to catch everyone’s attention with their boho theme. We especially loved the detail of the barrel acting as their unity ceremony stand. This was made complete with a teal linen runner from Mysha herself!
On the topic of creating a day that was unique and memorable to them, the details and decisions didn’t end at décor choices. Another incredible way our couple was able to set themselves apart from the crowd was with their distinctive choice of unity ceremony.
Set at the altar was a set of two whiskey decanters. Each with an initial for either Mysha or Rob and their favorite choice of spirit inside. With one glass between them, they each took a turn exchanging words and pouring from their decanter into the glass to create a combined cocktail. Once fused together, they each took a sip from the glass to symbolize the newfound unity created between them as husband and wife!
Aside from this fun new twist to a unity ceremony, we especially love how the decanters will make for lovely keepsakes in their home. They can look upon them to remember their big day and pass them down as an heirloom in their family for years to come.
This takes the phrase “falling in love with just one sip” to a whole new level!
When we filled you in on how Mysha and Rob utilized a first look to their advantage when it came to the photography timeline, you might’ve thought their portraits ended there. But wait, there’s more!
We’re about to illustrate how they used that free time to to bring their wedding album to the next level!
Mysha took the chance to change her entire wedding look for the reception by utilizing a matching all-lace bolero on top of her stunning boho gown. With this change of attire, she and Rob added in an entire adventure session right at sunset. This was made possible while their guests transitioned from cocktail hour to reception.
Not only did they not miss a single beat of their wedding day itinerary, they were able to get two separate sets of formal portraits on their wedding day! Talk about making the most of every minute!
With golden hour peeking through right as the sun set, they captured breathtaking shots together as newlyweds. Mysha’s wardrobe change helped lend a vintage and romantic edge to their second set of photos. All combined, it made their adventure session dreamier than ever!
Following their adventure session, Mysha and Rob were introduced into their reception for the first time as husband and wife. With everything they hoped for complete, they were able to party the night away alongside their guests. With our help, they were able to enjoy a custom wedding day experience that was true to themselves. All the planning leading up to the day helped them to embrace every moment to make their wedding truly unforgettable!
Mysha and Rob, working alongside you both to create your unforgettable wedding day was just as much of a memorable experience for me! I adored every second of seeing the love between you both as your personalities came to life on the day of. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and shots of whiskey to come!
