Angelica and Hugo traveled from out of state to host their elegant Orlando Museum of Art wedding! It was an honor to be a part of their big day. They were so wonderful to work with!
The ceremony was held in the Grand Gallery in front of Dale Chihuly’s signature glass sculpture, Citron & Cobalt tower. What a fun and unique backdrop! So colorful; so pretty! A string quartet provided beautiful music and it was one of the things that Angelica and Hugo were most looking forward to because they loved music! After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in Grand Gallery while the newlyweds took photos in the galleries. To be honest, I never pictured formal photos in an art gallery – I mean after all, you go to museum to look at art and most of the time you can’t take photos…BUT, holy cow did the photos turn out awesome! Take a look for yourself!
After photos, guests entered the Rotunda where the reception was held. This space is so unique and a great place to dance the night away! Angelica’s vision was beautiful! Gold Chiavari Chairs paired perfectly with the grey napkins and burgundy floral. Sweet and simple and oh-so perfect. One of my favorite elements was their custom cake topper. You guys, it looked just like Angelica and Hugo! It even had their pup and kitten on it. I mean, how cute! Also, they had three cakes…which was amazing because who doesn’t like cake!?
The night was so much fun and we were so honored to be a part of it! Congrats to Angelica and Hugo!
Mutual friends thought we’d get along so they gave us the others’ cell and we talked a lot because I (Angelica) was moving to the city for grad school. When I made the move here we hung a lot and the he asked me out on an official first date and the rest, as they say, is history. Hugo really made me feel at home in the city was an immediate support to me here away from my family and friends.”
“We went to Paris for my grad school graduation and he popped the question at the Jardin des Tuileries on our last day.”
