I had so much fun working with Alyssa to pull her big day together! I knew from the minute we met, we were going to get along oh-so nicely. She was so dang sweet and down to earth and very excited to be getting married!

Alyssa and Hecmer decided on a travel theme for their wedding. Since Hecmer was a pilot, it made perfect sense! The two exchanged vows in the Grand Ballroom at Mission Inn on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. When guests arrived, they were directed to sign in on a beautiful globe. White draping lined the walls of the ballroom and Miss Daisy’s Floral made sure it was decorated to perfection. The centerpiece was a beautiful arch, adorned with floral. This made for the perfect backdrop to the ceremony. The room was also lit with uplighting provided by Xclusive DeeJays and that gave the room a nice, romantic glow.

After the ceremony, the guests drove over to Marina del Rey, where they enjoyed some finger foods and mingling while the newlyweds took beautiful portraits. It was a beautiful, sunny, Florida day! When it was time to head inside the Pavilion, they received boarding passes which would guide them to their country (I mean table).

A delicious brunch buffet consisting of omelettes, waffles and all the yummy brunch fixings was served. My favorite thing about Mission Inn brunch weddings is the aroma in the room. You can smell waffles immediately when you enter and that delicious smell lasts forever. It’s making me hungry thinking of them now. YUM!

Can I please mention that Hecmer was also the nicest person you will ever meet. His smile was contagious and HE LOVED TO DANCE! In fact, the entire group loved to dance. It was such a wonderful sight to see! After brunch, everyone danced the afternoon away. The day ended with a bubble grand exit and the newlyweds headed off to the airport for their honeymoon!

I’m so happy for Alyssa and Hecmer. I had so much fun working with them and I wish them all the best as they start this new adventure together! Here’s to love, laughter and travel!
