Purple Wedding at the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom

Kate and Christy’s purple wedding at the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom was so much fun to plan! Kate and Christy were such a wonderful couple to work with as was Kate’s mom, Tammi. The colors were purple, blue and green and we incorporated Irish accents throughout because Christy was from Ireland!

The Ceremony:

The ceremony took place outside behind Dubsdread underneath the trees, overlooking the golf course. It was simply beautiful! Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals provided wine barrels which we topped with gorgeous floral arrangements and placed them at the entrance to the aisle. The trees made for the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Not to mention, Dubsdread just installed market lighting and it was icing on the cake! It was such a wonderful ceremony, led by their family friend, Thom.

The Reception:

Kate and Christy’s reception was one for the books! They brought in The Buzzcatz to keep the party going and they rocked it! If you have never heard of The Buzzcatz before, go check them out! Everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner; there were even quesadillas! Woohoo! After they cut the cake, the Dubsdread team brought out dessert shooters for everyone to enjoy as well. Towards the end of the night, the Hutton Haute Dog stand was opened! Guests were able to enjoy mini hot dogs as a late night snack. It was the cutest little touch!

We are so happy for these two and we wish we could celebrate with them all over again! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Hutton!

Katie’s Favorite Details:

I loved all of the Irish-inspired accents. A little clover in Christy’s boutonniere, clover table numbers and clover-shaped paper for the well wishes box! Also, the Hutton Haute Dog stand was a hit. And can we just talk about The Buzzcatz? They rocked it!
