Candice and Joe were an absolute pleasure to work with! They reached out to me because they were in need of a little more than just day-of coordination. They needed guidance on how to plan their big day and also make their vision come to life. Happy to assist, I put together a custom package for them. Because they lived in Tampa, we did all of our meetings via Skype, email and text. I actually didn’t get to meet them in person until the day of their rehearsal.

They wanted their wedding to be fun and memorable. A party for their friends and family to enjoy and celebrate with them. They also wanted it to look pretty, but with simple decor. They loved being by the water ( and living in Tampa, they were by the Gulf) so they decided on a nautical theme for the big day. The look came together with beautiful elements including sea glass bottles, burlap, rope, messages in bottles, and an epic helm which accented their sweetheart table. Flowers of coral and pink with accents of greenery and succulents made the look come together perfectly. It was sweet and simple and was exactly the vibe they were going for.

One of my favorite things was that they incorporated their fur babies, Daisy and Cali. Fairy Tail Pet Care did such a wonderful job taking care of the two pups throughout the day. They were there to assist during picture time and kept them occupied during the day. It was such an adorable touch and their family pictures turned out so cute!

During the ceremony, they literally “tied the knot.” Candice and Joe worked with Lon of Sensational Ceremonies to incorporate a knot tying ceremony. It added a unique touch to the ceremony and incorporated the nautical element perfectly. After the ceremony, the newlyweds snuck away and got some super awesome pictures at Marina del Rey as the sun was setting. It was so romantic!

The party continued inside the pavilion down by the marina. After toasts and a delicious buffet, the newlyweds played the shoe game and that was a hoot! The cake was cut (and smeared on Joe’s face) and they danced the night away. It was the perfect day for such wonderful couple!
